Data Management Assistant with Maternal and Child Nutrition under the Nutrition Research Division (Internal#69/2026)

Maternal and Child Nutrition under the Nutrition Research Division is conducting a research in order to build and validate machine learning models that use early-life enteropathogen exposure data to predict linear growth faltering and malnutrition by 24 months of age across multiple low- and middle-income country (LMIC) sites.

Key Responsibilities:

The Data Management Assistant reporting to the Principal Investigator will be involved in data entry, coding, cleaning & analysis using both traditional and machine learning approaches; and coordination of research activities. S/he will be responsible for:

• Provide data entry and cleaning activities;
• Perform data analysis in statistical software SPSS, Stata, R and Python;
• Prepare reports, figures and tables in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc;
• Work with large datasets, build statistical models using machine learning approaches
• Under the guidance of PI, contribute in scientific analysis to derive meaningful inferences from data; Evaluate those inputs and prepare draft report;

 Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s in any discipline from a reputed University;
• At least 3 years of experience in Data Management related domain;Candiate having both theoretical and practical experience in machine learning approaches will get preference;
• Expertise in handling large datasets and proficiency in STATA/SPSS/R/Python

Location: Dhaka

Number of positions: 01

Contract Type and duration:

• Contractual Service Agreement (CSA) basis for 6 months with a possibility of extension subject to availability of fund and performance

Salary & benefits:

• Tk. 41,522/- per month (consolidated) inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances.
• Festival bonus, income tax are paid by icddr,b including subsidized canteen food
