Assignment/Activity:

icddr,b invites applications from experienced ERP consultants with proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to strengthen the system’s functionality, address existing issues and build internal IT capacity.

Location: Mohakhali, Dhaka.

Number of Position: 01

Expected Start Date: At the earliest possible date.

Duration: 3 months.The consultant must be physically present at icddr,b premises throughout the consultancy period. 

Remuneration:

 Attractive monthly remuneration, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Background and Objective:

The consultant will provide expert techno-functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, for resolving critical ERP issues, particularly in the areas of Revenue Recognition and Budget Module reconstruction, while also supporting the IT ERP team in fixing other identified bugs and strengthening their technical and functional knowledge. Currently Finance (accounts, budget, grants, payroll, Treasury); HR (recruitment-hire to retire, performance management); Supply Chain; Inventory Management; Research Administration modules are in operation. Development platform includes Azure devops. 

Scope of Work:

The consultant will engage in the following tasks:

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix bugs related to Revenue Recognition;
• Reconstruct and optimize the Budget Module in D365 F&O according to organizational requirements;
• Provide support in resolving bugs and issues identified in ERP Microsoft D365 during the consultancy period;
• Work closely with the icddr,b IT ERP team to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions;
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide hands-on guidance to the IT ERP team to enable them to solve and fix ERP Microsoft D365 problems and bugs;
• Custom Development: Writes code for customizations, integrations, and custom reports that go beyond standard ERP functionality;
• System Architecture: Deals with the underlying software environment, system upgrades, and backend processes;
• Troubleshooting: Resolves technical issues, performance problems, and system errors by analyzing logs and debugging code;
• Integrations: Develops and implements integrations with third-party applications and other systems

Expected Deliverables: 

The consultant is expected to deliver the following within the consultancy period:

• Resolution of identified Revenue Recognition bugs;
• Reconstruction and stabilization of the Budget Module;
• Support for fixing additional ERP bugs identified by icddr,b;
• Technical and functional knowledge transfer to the IT ERP team;
• Timely resolution of ERP Microsoft D365 bugs and problems.

Required Qualifications

• University degree in computer science/Engineering/IT or relevant field.
• At least 8 years of experience in tailor made Microsoft ERP software development with proven experience in ERP techno-functional consulting.
• At least 5 years of proven experience specifically in tailor made Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O software development with proven experience in ERP techno-functional consulting.
• Hands-on experience in Revenue Recognition and Budget Module implementation/support.
• Demonstrated expertise in ERP troubleshooting, customization, and solution development.
• Strong communication and training skills for effective knowledge transfer.
• Microsoft certification(s) in Dynamics 365 will be considered an added advantage.
