Field Research Assistant with Maternal and Child Nutrition under the Nutrition Research Division (Adv#90/2026)

The Maternal and Child Nutrition program of Nutrition Research Division is implementing a study to identify the services and support needed to promote the healthy development of targeted children. The study will examine Early Childhood Development (ECD) in this unique context, identify key risk and protective factors, and generate evidence to design effective interventions that support children's healthy growth, learning, and future well-being. Considering the study participants, only qualified suitable Female candidates are encourage to apply. 

Position Description:

The Field Research Assistant reporting to the Research Investigator and will be responsible for planning, organizing and implementing research with the objective of conducting high-quality research within the guidelines of the research protocol. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Perform data/sample collection in the household;
• Collect data through Tab/Computer;
• Engage with community members and ensure participant cooperation;
• Perform field activities as per field schedules, visits, and logistics;
• Train field staff on data/specimen collection and management;
• Perform data validation check;
• Ensure compliance of study protocols and standard operating procedures in the field;
• Maintain records of field activities and contribute to operational reporting;

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
• At least 2 years of experience;
• Experience in TAB base data collection/management;

• Fluency in Rohingya language;

Location: Cox’s Bazar (Ukhiya).

Number of Position: 05 posts

Contract Type and Duration: 

• Short-Term ; duration will be 03 months with a possibility of extension, subject to availability of funds and performance.

• Tk. 41,522/-per month (consolidated) inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances;
• Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b.
