Programme Supervisor with Immunobiology, Nutrition & Toxicology under the Nutrition Research Division (Internal#95/2026)

The Immunobiology, Nutrition and Toxicology Laboratory conducts research on biomarkers and immune function in relation to infectious diseases, nutrition and environmental toxic exposures using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities: 

The Programme Supervisor will report to the Programme Manager. The major areas of responsibilities include:

• Supervise and provide guidance to field teams to ensure effective project implementation and high-quality data and sample collection;
• Execute project activities and distribute of training materials, logistics, and other project resources;
• Maintain effective liaison with government officials, NGOs, and other key stakeholders;
• Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping of logistics, consumables required at various field sites, and project-related expenditures;
• Monitor field activities and submit timely progress reports and updates to the supervisor.

Required qualification and experience:

• Bachelor degree in any discipline;
• 4 years of working experience in the relevant field.

Number of Position: 01

Contract Type and Duration:

• Fixed Term Agreement; duration will be 01 year with a possibility of extension, subject to availability of funds and performance.

Salary & benefits:

• Annual Tk. 603,200/- inclusive of house rent, conveyance, and other admissible benefits;
• 14.8% provident fund contribution, income tax paid by icddr,b, children allowance @Tk.2,492/- per child per month, festival bonus, contributory healthcare support including dependent spouse and children, group life insurance, and subsidized canteen. Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
