Senior Data Management Assistant with Immunobiology, Nutrition & Toxicology under the Nutrition Research Division (Internal#125/2026)

The Immunobiology, Nutrition and Toxicology Unit conducts research on biomarkers and immune function in relation to infectious diseases, nutrition and environmental toxic exposures using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities: 

The Senior Data Management Assistant will report to the Statistician. The major areas of responsibilities include:

• Capture and validate data, and resolve the systematic queries and automated queries raised by CRO and sponsor;
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and study data management policies;
• Maintain data management documentation, including data management plans, data cleaning logs, query logs, and version-control records;
• Prepare regular reports on data entry status, data quality, outstanding queries, and study progress;
• Monitor study-specific data management indicators and deadlines;
• Prepare clean and analysis-ready datasets with the support statisticians and researcher by providing datasets, data dictionaries, and relevant documentation;
• Ensure data confidentiality, security, and appropriate access control;
• Build interactive dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports on key study indicators;
• Analyse data as required by the Supervisor/Principal Investigator (PI) and raise issues or discrepancies to the investigator/PI;
• Prepare periodic analytical reports for PI, supervisors, and project teams and take corrective actions as directed by the supervisor.

Required qualification and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in Statistics with good academic records;
• At least 2 years working experience in the relevant field. Candidates having experience in clinical/vaccine trials data management will be given preference.
• Sound knowledge on Python and R

Location: Dhaka and Project Field Site.

Number of Position: 02 posts

Contract Type and Duration:

• Contractual Services Agreement basis (CSA); duration will be 6 months with a possibility of extension subject to performance.

Salary & benefits:

• Tk. 50,267/- per month (consolidated) inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances;
• Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b and subsidized canteen; Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
