Senior Field Assistant with Maternal and Child Nutrition under the Nutrition Research Division (Adv#132/2026)

The Maternal and Child Nutrition program of Nutrition Research Division is implementing a study to identify the services and support needed to promote the healthy development of targeted children. The study will examine Early Childhood Development (ECD) in this unique context, identify key risk and protective factors, and generate evidence to design effective interventions that support children healthy growth, learning, and future well-being.

Position Description:

The Senior Field Assistant reporting to the Research Investigator and will be responsible for planning, organizing and implementing research with the objective of conducting high-quality research within the guidelines of the research protocol.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform data/sample collection in the household;
• Perform data validation check using appropriate device;
• Engage with community members and ensure participant cooperation;
• Perform field activities as per field schedules, visits, and logistics;
• Ensure compliance of study protocols and standard operating procedures in the field;
• Maintain records of field activities and contribute to operational reporting;

Required qualifications and experience:

• HSC pass or equivalent;
• At least 1 year of experience in the relevant field;
• Experience in TAB base data collection/management;
• Fluency in Rohingya language;

Location: Cox’s Bazar (Ukhiya).

Number of Position: 10 posts

Contract Type and Duration: 

• Short-Term; Daily Wage basis; duration will be 2 months, extendable depending on performance and project need.

Salary & Benefits:

• Tk. 1,241/- per day (consolidated);
